JOB!

I had a great experience at a job fair in Utah on Tuesday. It was overwhelming thinking of all the many different places I could apply to, and hearing different schools philosophies of teaching. I presented myself as I am, not making anything up. I was real, friendly, honest and happy. I had a few job offers thrown my way, including Arizona and Utah, and I'm going with Utah. It is not 100% settled, but about 95% done. I'm really excited about this and feel so good about my decision. There were little "coincidences" that happened along the way that continually led my to my decision. The school I am most likely going to work at is located in Layton, Utah. It is called North Davis Preparatory Academy. It is a charter school focused on Spanish, Language Arts and culture. When they were describing their philosophy, I found it matched exactly with mine, which made me even more excited. I'm going out to their school on April 1 to check out the classes and campus, and have a more formal interview with the principal. But from all the talk over the phone and emails we have exchanged, I'm sure it is a done deal. If I feel as good as I do now when I visit their site, and they are still impressed with me, I'll sign a contract then and there! I'm so excited about the new experiences in life that will come and to actually have a job - this will be my first paid job! Everything seems to be working out so well. I feel so blessed and I know Heavenly Father's hand has been helping and guiding me throughout this whole process. How grateful I am to Him.
