Up, Up and Away!

On Friday night Jesse and I went to my school's auction. Every year they have an auction and only parents, teachers and businessmen are invited. It is a big deal. Dinner was served and the auction began. There was a silent auction of at least a hundred baskets. Each class has a book, and based on the theme of that book, they create a massive basket, with the help of parents. Students bring in different items for the basket. There were some amazing ones done. Jesse and I went with a budget and were determined to walk away with something. We both liked a particular basket, based on the book/movie "Up." It was well done. There was a big cooler filled with different Up things and a cute picnic basket. There theme was camping and outdoors things. We bid on it three times, competing with my secretary, but we ended up getting it! We were so excited, especially because we stayed under our budget! Also in it, there was a tent, two camping chairs, camping plates, utensils, a picnic table cover, a signed book of Up by all the characters, ballons everywhere, flashlight, tennis balls, a compass a bag of wood.... it was sooo fun! The picture almost does it justice, but not quite. We're happy though. Now we are really ready for the family reunion and to go camping! :)
