Nerd!

So today I wore a new do to school. I usually wear my hair up in a curly pony-tail or bun and wear my contacts. Today, I wore my hair down and straight with my purple rimed glasses. I thought I looked pretty. My first class mentioned that they noticed something different about me and said how they liked my glasses and seeing my hair down. They, too, thought I looked pretty, as did a parent volunteer. :) My other class, though, had different thoughts - the first thing most of the kids said was that I looked like a nerd! I couldn't believe it! I thought it was funny and laughed, but it continued all day - Ms. Nerd. You look like a nerd. It was said in a "nice" way and humorous. It's just a good thing I my self-esteem was not destroyed! :) I told the other teachers during lunch and we all got a good laugh. Kids are great and so random. I love the things they say! hahaha!
